SUPPORTED START INFANT DEVELOPMENT COACHING

From the first weeks to their first steps, Supported Start's Developmental Coaching will help you help your baby reach important infant developmental milestones utilizing customized activities geared towards their individual age and stage.

My developmental coaching teaches parents how to effectively spend time with their baby through purposeful play.  It is a customized, no-stress way for you to learn how to best encourage motor skill development.  From major milestones like rolling, sitting, crawling, and walking, to all the little achievements before and in-between, I will support you as you support them.

Because coaching is virtual, you don't have to leave the comfort of your own home! Not only does this save time and energy (crucial for new parents!), but it allows you to learn the skills in the environment where you will use them, using the space, toys, and tools you already have. That being said, if you'd like toy and/or equipment recommendations, I'm happy to help.

Important Note: This is not pediatric physical therapy. I do not treat conditions that have been medically diagnosed or for which physical therapy has been recommended, and I do not provide diagnoses.

From four weeks of age through walking, this coaching provides you with individualized, developmentally-appropriate, and fun ways to play with your baby, all while encouraging important developmental skills. (This can include how to improve tolerance for the often dreaded tummy time!)

Based on where your child is developmentally, I will introduce you to and coach you in purposeful play activities that will encourage your baby's continued motor skill development.

After each coaching session, you'll receive a follow-up email with a customized list of purposeful play ideas, as well as any recommended toys or tools we discussed during your session.
